I just talked to my dealer and he thought $1400 would close the deal.
Mine is a 2000 sp500 Yellow with a Warn 2000 winch. 800 +/- miles at 110 hours.
How does this sound to most of you?
He initially quoted me the list price and I told him I didn't buy my last one for list, so why would I pay list for this one. After reminding him, he said "Oh, yeah, you paid about $6,450.00 for yours." Nope, 6,300. He said that was the lowest they've ever sold a sp500. I'm kinda sure it was too. anyway, I was wondering if they were trying to make up the difference on me.
thanks.

I have a 2000 SP500 w/300 miles, I checked a few of my local dealers and have been quoted anywhere from $1200-$1500 to upgrade to an H.O. It's a pretty big loss but they are selling the leftover 2000's for $5800 around here. Most dealers I have seen are selling the H.O. for around $6200-$6300. I paid $6200 for my 2000 six months ago.

I don't mean this wrong fellows but are you guys crazy...why don't you just give them your sportsman...lets see here is a little math if they are asking $6300 for the HO and you trade for a difference for $1500 that is you selling your bike for $4700...I know you could sell it anywhere local easily for $5200...I mean come on fellows if it was $800 difference pretty close but $1200 to $1500 difference...give me a break already...maybe some of you guys need to remind your dealer where you bought your original Sportsman cause all they are going to due is prep the machine you GIVE them and add $1000 bucks to the price and believe me at $6300 for the HO they are making plenty on it...just my thoughts....

Silver??
I read the Polaris web site and no mention of silver.
When I talked to the dealer he said "No silver Sportsman".
Anyway, maybe I'll put mine up for sale.
