Where do you go for ATV insurance?

 

Triple A offers it, for mine it's about $225 a year for theft or $325 a year for theft and collision.

I just called my auto insurance company(state farm) and asked them, I get a discount because I have 3 other accounts with them. Auto, Home, and life insurance. It was an extra $56 a year to add my scrambler. can't beat that

Yes we had insurance. The Trailer was on the Truck policy while the ATV was on a policy of its own.

A sincere thank you for your comments, suggestions, etc., and for keeping an eye open for the stolen items.

It's reasons/stories like this that I've been thinking of adding an atv/motorcycle alarm. you can get them on Ebay for $40 plus shipping and they are made for atv's and motorcycles and are waterproof. they work just like automotive alarms and the sensitivity can be adjusted.

 

i decided to keep this post going so maybe someone can help you recover it, due to the fact that some low life had to go and steal something that someone else works very hard for....i am now calling my insurance company to insure my trailer and atv, sorry for your loss
also...can anyone somewhat explain how the atv insurance works and the collision part too.. thanks

 

PLM thats horrible news and im sure you must be very pissed. A little over a year ago my 2004 Polaris Sportsman 500 (Camo) was at the dealer getting basic maintenance. I told the dealer to call me when it was ready to be picked up. They called me all right, to tell me that it had been stolen at the dealership during a storm!! Talk about being pissed. there is only 1 chain that locks the ATV's that are being repaired and for checkups. They said their policy was to give me the same 4wheeler but an '05. Which would end up costing me more. So after questioning to the police about the WHOLE robbery ( my dealer is out of town ) it turned out to be an inside deal at the dealership. I got half off a brand new (at the time) '04 Sportsman 700. My situation turned out good, and i hope yours does too PLM. You have to a really low of a person to steal such things. Good luck PLM.

I pay $780 a year for the 2 newer bikes.That's with a million liability also.
