It's not so much that I'm a "MUD SISSY!!!".........it's just that I'm not of the misconception that my Sportsman is a SUBMARINE!!!! Everybody...check out WGMARQ's pictures and you'll see what I mean.

Does everyone use the Polaris synthetic oil and filter? Or is there better stuff out there?

 

i change mine once a month since its like 20 bucks with filter ...... air filter once a week i ride alot though

 

I change mine twice a year. In the spring it gets Amsoil ($6 qt) with either an Amsoil or NAPA Gold filter. In the fall before I put it away I change it to Mobil 1 because it is only like $4.50 a quart and I dump it out in the spring anyway.

 

I change the oil in the wife and I's 700's twice a year. the dealer told me that most people are doing good as long as they change the oil once a year to be safe.

 

3 times a year for me..so that'd be every 4 months..spring, fall, and winter

 

about every 500 miles which is about every 4 months

 

I change every fall before freeze up so if there is any water in gear cases so they won't freeze

 

the magnum 50 every 100 hrs. the preds every 10 hrs. amsoil 0-40 and k&n filters in the preds and amsoil filter in the mag.
