All the magazines are so biased its absurd. They rate one quad the best ever one minute, and will turn around the very next issue and say how terrible it is. They're a joke. Don't base your opinions on the useless comments in a magazine, but base them on REAL WORLD experience. I've won against yfz's and I've lost..... It all depends on what they've done to them and what the talent level of the rider on it is. Its the same story with Raptors.

 

the YFZ tops out at about 68/69. the preddy tops out at about 75 (dirtwheels clocked it at 74.7).

That has to be the stupidest thing the i have a yfz and my friend has a ford lightning and he was running 80 and i was right with him in high gear and mine is STOCK i pulled ahead then he hit 90 and blew bye men so shove it way faster than 68 my brothers raptor 350 will top out at 63 cuz he raced the same lightning so who ever told you this stuff is so wrong they should be kicked off this forum.

 

LOL!.............Well I've been a little disappointed in this Raptor but only cause it doesn't run right. Its got a bad stumble on the low end and it drives me nuts when I'm going slow. Also, when I raced them last weekend, my Raptor isn't fully broke in yet and their Preddys aren't stock. We'll see what happens when my mods get here and I go through these carbs.............[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
They are a little nervous cause I'm the one that put the mods on their Preddys so they already know I can make this Raptor fly..................[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Sand 45 i like the E2 exhaust very well it has really good power and is WAY better then the stock muffler in looks and sound and power.. And Thnks everyone else for telling me the differences and stuff between the YFZ450 and Predator 500 and if anyone else has anymore comment ( that are actually true not just making up stuff[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img] i would like too hear from you) And RAJ i will try to see if i can meet up with you there and will race for the heck of it[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

So you are saying your YFZ runs 80, with stock gearing?!?!?!?!? LOL

I don't know any one from there, last year was our 1st year there. Come on down, we can set around and BS and drink a few. I think Yamaha and Polaris guys can set around and drink a few with out fighting over are quads. It would be fun[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Agreed, I can think of at least five other brands of exhaust that will outperform the WB with a night and day difference.
