call Rick Ritter, I got and HPD clutch kit from him. He'll set you up for your riding. Mine gave me much better low end responce, and power. Made it a lot better for trail riding and a lot faster take off than I ahd before, just need to be careful to keep the front tires on the ground now.

Yea Rick can set you up with an HPD clutch kit that will give you plenty of take off, and power for how you ride. Also get a K&N filter.

If you are buying it new, I would wait till the engine is broke in and everything is running good before modding it, just incase there is a problem, never hurts to play it safe!

Jim's right about the filter too. Jet kit can help a lot, but I hear you should do a pipe at the same time to really get the performance out of it.
It won't keep up with the full sport quads on straight stretches but you'll like playing on it better than the utilities and you can go everywhere that the utilities can go just about. I haven't gotten stuck anyplace so far that a utility has gone through.

also, does anyone have any expierience puling with them? cuz i always ride with only sport quads ( blaster, z, 300 ex, raptor, blaster) and i always have to pull them out with the cat. i am planning on taking a little tackle box, drilling holes and mounting to grap bar with 2 20' tow straps in it. do they pull good? can u pull with that little triangle piece on the rear axel, or should i buy a hitch package. or do they just flip back? i dont think they would knowing how much they weigh.

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

Buy it .....ride it......then ask what you want.It may be ok the way it is. But clutching is where the power is.
