Default Sportsman 400 question

Hey guys I have a 2005 sportsman 400. I am looking at changing the primary spring since you cant beat the price to performance ratio and I dont want to get the clutch kit just yet so I was wondering what color everybody would recomend to get a little more low end but not lose too much on the mid to high range. I mainly want to be able to leave the bike in high and only have to use low for hills and water that me and franco have come to love so much

Default Sportsman 400 question

The EPI maroon primary is a great spring. It does not give much higher take off but pulls real hard mid to top. I run a epi pink and the maroon is 1 step higher. I love the pink spring. My brother inlaw put a maroon in his 600 and he outruns 700's. I can beat 400's with my 330. The 330 also weighs alot less so that helps.

Default Sportsman 400 question

I have white Polaris priamry spring in my 400. I went from not even being able to lift the front tire, to now I can get them a solid foot off the ground if I hook up. For twenty bucks, it's a pretty good deal.
