Cough..... as he taps the memory banks as to the last time someone called him sunshine. Call it the hockey player in me, the self-amplification of ones stature is always looked at with a smirk. You hit the nail on the head with your "brought in on yourself" comment. I've had industry folks tell me "what's coming" til I can't see straight. If you believe everything you hear, well, you're always gonna be a busy person....at least you'll think you are.

By the way, the number of posts in no way elevates anyone's status on this or any other fourm. Work for an airline, kill hours commuting, and you'd be a typing yahoo also.

Oh, and your "crystal ball" signature is missing the quad of all quads, the KTM. Geez, they even posted job listings for the development team.

Geez,

I think instead of "the phantom", I'll just call him "My Precious", as he's so very special..........

So Thank you "My Precious" for spending your such valuable time, as to swap banter with us un-worthy mere mortals.

The clouds have parted, the sunshine streams through, angels are singing, and we're all so blessed.

Yawn stretch burp scratch......my gerbil is faster than your gerbil.

BWahhahahahahaahhahahahah!!! Good one!

The ramblings of the phantom remind me of the words of wisdom read on a t-shirt as a young lad (many decades ago);

"Those of you that think you know everything........ are very annoying to those of us that do"

Oh, you are correct in that I haven't listed the KTM in my "Crystal ball" but that indeed has been covered by myself in other posts. As for everyone thinking that I think I am better than others is completely wrong. I elevated myself by not following the standard fare of posting simplisticly for a more eloquent approach. That in no way makes me thiink I am better, just unique.
Oh and the "call it the hocky player in me coming out" doesn't really cut it with me. Suffice it to say, I am a So Cal native and have played ice hockey for the past 14 years. I'm sure you have played all your life in Minn, but I can assure you that I can muck and grind with the best of them. Perhaps the fact that I was unable to make an AHL squad when I had the oppertunity a few years back ranks me lower than you, but to make it into the final 5 cuts with 5 years under my belt gave me a sense of pride. Take it for what it's worth, but you'll need to do more than cross check me in the open ice to deter me.
All this started with a simple statement I came across when I was observing the Polaris guys at last years Baja 1000.

The Phantom.....hopes you like it in Arctic Cat country......

Oh, really? How soon you forget!
I am the greatest thing you have ever seen...or ever will see.
It's hard to keep all the lies straight, isn't it?

Ah, the "eloquent" phantom.....you do tend to over-use that term. If you want hockey merits, I used to skate 2 hours a day (m-f) with a WHL team while serving full-time in the Air Force, I had an invite, but service to my country came first....once again you blow your own horn. I won't speak for others, they are very capable on their own, but you're beyond boring. If you want to gab about tech ideas, and help people out with their maint. issues, by all means, welcome. If you want to keep talking in 3rd person, and trying to make yourself out to be the next "Incredible".....not too many will give you the time of day here.

To humble yourself is to truly know the meaning of life, and the great people who make up this country.

By the way, there is a very capable AC product in my shop. Both companies make some pretty nifty products....along with Honda, Yamaha, BRP, etc.

I did play Pro hockey for the St. Louis Blues from 1992 - 1994 when I took a break to train Aboriginees in the finer aspects of the sport . During my carreer I kicked 5 - 50 yard field goals and threw 3 no hitters .

As far as talking about new models not introduced yet , I don't do it .
