sportsman 700 spark plug wire???????

Default sportsman 700 spark plug wire???????

My friend has a 2002 Sportsman 700 and his spark plug wire on the left side keeps coming off the plug.Has anyone else experinced this ?????If so what was the fix??

I've heard of this, but no prob with mine.
Try crimping it so it fits tighter.

THANKS..But we have tried crimping .This seems to happen when water is involved.The presure from the hot water(hot from the engine being hot)seems to be pushing the boot off the plug.

Default sportsman 700 spark plug wire???????

Here is the deal on your factory spark plugs. My left wire also would just pop off sometimes. The boot has a small piece of plastic that helps keep the end on the plug itself. You can order the ends and the wire but be careful, your CDI and wire are really one unit, you can pull the old wire out but a new one will have to be glued back. I just bought a set of taylor repair wires 8mm I think and glued them back on my CDI and that solved my issue.
