If you plan on updating your Sportsman to an HO Polaris is out of cams. 2 weeks ago they had plenty. Guess lots of riders had the same idea. Heres the real problem, when I checked on order status it will be 01/13/01 untill they will be available! Guess we will have to dream about more power until then or get the new "01"

Bill, have you heard anything about 500 HO engines in a Magnum ? I'm not sure that I want to get the complexity and expense of a Sportsman.

We have an early release 500 Mag. no HO. I was sure they were going to be. Maybe they will be in the future. Sure wouldn't take much to update it when the cams become available again.

If I changed to the H.O cam but left the same 36mm carb. on my SP500 would it make a proformance inprovement or do you have to get the 40mm carb also to make the set up work.I may not get the full 20% HP increase but say 10% more and better gas milage than having the 40mm carb might be good enough.
