HMF or Trinity Exhaust for 04 Predator?
#1
I have a 2004 Dale Earnhardt Predator. I am currently looking at an HMF exhaust and the Trinity complete stage IV exhaust. I have a stock motor as of right now. With the HMF I am looking at the regular sport one and the Ballance series one. Does anyone know the difference between the two? and which one is louder and performs better? I will be getting a Rath header if I go with either of the HMF pipes.
I want a very loud exhaust that performs well. If anyone knows out of the three : HMF sport, HMF Ballance pro series, or the Trinity complete stage IV exhuast. If anyone knows which one is the loudest and perfoms the best, I would apprecaite it.
I plan to do minor engine mods when I finishing paying off the pred and get the exhaust. Do you suggest to go with the HMF (sport or Ballance) and rath pipe or the complete Trinity racing stage IV exhuast?
Thanks, Chris

All I know is the HMF is a great pipe, and it's loud. If they make another pipe for the Pred that out proforms the HMF I would like to see it. HMF and the Rath Header is a sweet combo. I have had the Pure Polaris and it was an ok all around pipe, and I also had a buddy with a FMF, and it lacked top end.

I've seen HMF do real well on Predators. I ordered one for my Raptor but its been a month now and I'm getting a little impatient. Might look into a LRD but I'll probably just wait on the HMF to get here. Don't know anything about Trinity.

Thanks for all the input.
I am leaning towards the HMF with the rath header. I have a question for RAJ, what kind of HMF slip on do you run? I have seen the regular HMF which is the sport model I think. But then on their website I saw the Ballance series. It looks like the only difference is the ballance exhaust has this "Torque Range Modifier." It is supposed to increase the torque on the bottom end, so there is a smooth delivery of power. Does anyone know if that is actually real and if so is it good? I dont want to spend an extra 100$ on some gimmick that doesnt work.
thanks,

I have the sport model. When you get the Rath Header you will put up a bunch of low end. My buddy has the same gearing as I do and the same pipe, he don't have the Rath header and I have more low end then he does.
