Just curious: about how much will that install of the mods cost? Just want an idea so that I can call around for the best price. Thanks

Hey Frizzle you may want to ride a piped and clutch polaris before you go and do the mods.My wife has a 400 Scrambler and she hated the clutch kt and pipe on it .We went stock and she liked it better. Now we are going with a Dynoport pipe which requiers no clutching aka stock engagment. We ride with a couple that she has a Dynoport on her TB and it has better lowend than my sons HPD modded TB but not the topend power. Brad

hey ftwflh, what didn't your wife like about the mods? I am just curious because I am really need more power, and if the mods is the way to get it, I am sold. But if there was a major reason why she didn't like them, let me know. Reason being, is that I don't know of anyone else with a TB250 (most everyone here has 700's or better), let alone someone with the mods I am looking for to test their quad. Thanks.

When you use a mod kit it raises the engagment(the rpm which the quad starts to move) This is necessary on a 2stroke to get the rpms up to the powerband of the pipe.If you dont clutch most pipes right they will not work right. My sons TB is HPD all the wy and it can be tricky in tight trails but is a blast in the dunes or open fields. What my wife didnt like is the high rpms to get going and the HARDhit when it hit the powerband.Like I said the Dynoport system uses stock cluching and makes good power.Check it out here http://www.dynoport.com/.
