Default Go from 4X4 to 2X4

Has anyone removed the 4X4 components from a scrambler 500? I'm trying to get the weight down. What about suspension upgrades? One last thing, Why does my clutch cover rub so bad, I wore a hole clean through it.
Thanks

I can answer one question for you the clutch cover probably has warped from heat causing the clucth to rub a hole in it. Also welcome to the fourms.

What kind of price are we looking at? Are the interchangeable? Do I really need those or can I stick with the ones I have. Do you know if the chain and sprockets are the same for the 500 and 400 scrambler.
Thanks
