Default are sportsmans steering column greasable?

My 2004 700EFI has a sqeek evertime I turn the handle bars and sounds like it's coming from under the handlebar area, is there a grease fitting under the pod or something? I haven't looked for myself yet but thought I'd ask, If so I'd like to get it greased before I go up north this weekend.

I find it funny this topic does not come up more often. This stuff is great click on the link below. Jack up the front of the bike spray it on the joint under the pod and down by the inner tierod ends while turning the handle bars left to right. I also spray the top of the struts under the cup no more squeeky front end...

The 4 steering pivots that have rubber boots over them tend to squeak. Clean off, take can aerosol lithium grease and give each a spray inside boot with the long spray nozzle. Mine was doing this also.

There is a zerk fitting on the shaft below the pod.

that's what I have heard, I will have to spray some Tri-Flow on the upper/lower parts of the steering shaft before I load up to go up north because it is very annoying to hear that squeek sound everytime you turn the handlebars.

Would WD40 work, or should I find something more like grease? That sound is driving me crazy.
