This is the most expensive quad there is to buy at the moment, and im thinking about purchasing it. I've heard there have been some problems with the 800?.. Am i just wrong, or has there been any recalls or anything?, please help.

The 06's will be out soon. I'm sure there will be some minor changes. Some changes that need fixed are..... storage compartments need to be made waterproof, the 8's need something done so the plastic doesn't melt , I'm sure there are other little things that would make it nicer. I would like to see the front storage to be made different. Its almost useless the way it is. Can't hold much, like a cooler. The ride is super though!!!

i hope the '06s have imrpoved water-tight storage in the rear. prior to 2005 it was water tight. never had to worry about rusty tools, soggy owner's manual, distroyed registration, and anything else important that i wanted to put in there.

i hope Polaris addresses the rattles-like-crazy fenders as well.

i wasn't happy about my front warped storage lid either. (almost all of them at the Dealer did the same thing.)

BTW, i had an '05 SP700EFI DaleJr Edition. just sold it and waiting for the '06s.

the Mossy-Oak sounds GREAT! it is my understanding that there are 2 models- Mossy-Oak Edition and the Hunter Edition. same color just different options (heated grips/winch std/mossy-oak wheels instead of black wheel).

I just bought my wife a 05 sportsman 500 and the front lid is bent upward slightly. Any fixes to make sure front and back storage areas are water tight?
