The frame has a list price of 649.99. polarisoemparts.com has it for 563.32 but they can't ship it. Man what a huge job it would be to swap out the frame. Maybe you could try calling around to some auto body shops and see if they can pull the frame for you. I have no idea if they would do it or not but I'm sure it an be done.

Sorry, that wasnt me, my buddy offered that crooked advice while he was down here last night. I do apologize and I will make sure that I log off when I am done from now on. Although, I do think the frame strightening is a good idea. I would cut and grind off the a-arm bracket, straighten the frame with a torch, fab up a new a-arm bracket and weld it on. It involves a lot of careful measuring but I think it would be well worth it. Plus the part of the frame that your putting the torch to will be harder when it cools so you have nothing to worry about on the strength side. If your an inexperienced welder, take the braket to somebody to have it welded on, after all you dont want the weld on something like that break off or crack.

I'm sure they could void the warranty if you installed something improperly and it broke or wore out. However, if you had an engine failure, I don't see how they could void the warranty if all you did was swap it between frames. For a $1,000, I would risk it. I would also call other dealers.

My buddy bought a 2005 trailboss 330 4-stroke we took it to croom and 2 days later the bike had a bent FRAME, my buddy ran into a stump at about 5 miles per hour{no lie} and the frame that holds the steering stem bent and twisted., We called Polaris and they said pretty much to go **** ourselves they dont cover colisions. I think my buddy got a defective frame. Polaris has a slogan which says "The way out" we were on the way in and the bike broke now we have to walk out what kind of crap is that? I have a HONDA , I'M GLad i have a honda if i had a polaris then i would have a junked out piece. i have rolled my 400ex down the mountain, front over end mutiple times in the same day. But the irinic thing is my honda was THE WAY OUT. And still has no problems, but yet my buddy hits a stump "which is imposible to not do in croom", and his bike brakes. ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO HELP THE SITUATION?
