2 Questions About The 05 700 EFI
Couple of quick questions regarding the 05 700efi. First, is anyone else having a whining sound coming from the front end while going down steep inclines in low gear???? Is this a normal sound from the ebs system or is something else going on ?? Next, how do you adjust the rear shocks so the back end wont squat so bad.

There is an adjustment on the lower part of the rear shocks. You can see notches on it. You would twist it so that in other notches there is more preload on the springs. I use channel locks to do it. It's easier if you remove the rear wheels. Any other questions?

just bought a 800 and a 700 last 2 weeks...what your saying about the whining is normal....in 2 wheel you really have less hold back than you would in 4 wheel drive ...there is why you hear it in in 2 and not 4 wheel drive...never messed with the shocks ..mine rides and carries fine as it is.

First off you never want to really go down a hill fast on a polaris in low range. The back tires will lock up and could cause you to possibly slide sideways. 2nd a polaris doesn't hold back going downhill in 4x4. The polaris doesn't kick into 4x4 until it slips 20%. Normally it is hardly noticable it works so fast.
