Default Portable pressure washer?

Yep 1800psi electric one here. Works great. It was $80 at Home Depot. It has an adjustable nozzle so you can change the spray however you want. Harbour freight has them also. They plug into 110v. I have had mine for 2yrs now and i clean all my toys with it.

Default Portable pressure washer?

I don't currently have one but I'm doing a little research because I'm going to get one. I want to get one that will also be powerful enough for deck cleaning, concrete cleaning etc......

My brother in law got a great deal a couple of years ago on a Colman 3500 PSI/4.0 GPM 13.5HP machine for $500 at Home Depot. It has a 3 piston pump and a Robin OHV slant engine....nice. It was a sale/close-out and I've yet to see them again. I used it to clean my deck prior to putting down weather proofing and it worked awesome. Machines with those ratings are all running about $900 to $1000 and I don't want to spend that much. I'm looking on EBay and finding a Karcher unit with a 6 or 6.5 HP Robin engine rated at 2800 PSI and I think about 3 GPM if I remember right. It has the Karcher pump and I think this thing will be about perfect for my needs. They sell for about $500 on EBay. I believe Karcher is the largest manufacturer of pressure washers.

Default Portable pressure washer?

I use mine alot and have had 3 electric ones (1300 psi) over the last 8 years or so. This year decided to upgrade to a gas one. After a bunch of research wound up with a 2600psi Ex-cell from Home Depot Cost 388$ - 10% . Wanted the quick connect end rather than the twist one since that seemed to go out on me first. I ALWAYS use the 40 nozzel for my atv. The 40 and 25 work well for stripping old (weathered) wood and decking. So far have not used the jet one except to try it. Wish I had gone gas a few years ago.

Most all of your residential pressure washers require a minimum amount of preasure on the input side to function. My handbook gave me a minimum rating for city water preasure. BTW i would not recommend running anything but clean tap water through that pump. It might damadge it. my .02
