Well I had heard the rumors but it is true there are silver metallic 2001 SP-HO’s. I was at Pioneer Motorsport in Sardinia, NY and they had two. I had asked about the Yellow Scramblers and the owner told me they had received three-marked Yellow but were actually red. That is when she said some silver HO’s came in on the same shipment? I said are you sure they are not magnums or 2000’s? They are most definitely silver and 2001 Sportsman-HO’s.

I have seen the silver HO only in a brochure! I like the color. Our local dealer has two yellow HO's. Yellow is a nice color but silver looks better!

 

My brother in-law liked the power of my Yellow HO so much he traded his Silver 2000 SP in on a Silver SP-HO tonight. The only change he made was to ask the dealer to put his wheels on the new HO. The 2000 Sportsman (Silver) came with gray wheels and the 2001 has black.
