I don't have the PXT's, but my 489's have given me trouble before. Nothing serious on the sportsman, but the fronts on the 250's have torn in the sidewalls before. Once so bad it couldnt be patched, had to get a new tire. The 489's on the sportsman are full of deep cuts and punctures, but apparently none go all the way through, as they hold air.
