I really like it, it drives great, runs smooth, has plenty of power and has tons of storage. The bike is basically the same as your 800, just with less power.

I would love to see a 700 efi 2 up machine, I was thinking of the bomb 800 max,
but BRP's costumer service makes me say NO!
A true 800 would be nice, and would not be to hard for polaris to change.
Stop the plastic from melting and give us true 4 wheel engine braking and
for cryin out loud give us bigger gas tanks. My money is still set aside for the
Arctic Cat H1, but being my dealer sells both polaris and ac, I could persuaded
to change my mind if polaris comes through with a home run.

IronRanger, Bomb has bad cust. service? I've never had one. Well get ready to be pissed off if you plan to buy a Pol. I've been a big supporter and owner since 89' and have owned 11 models. The 800 is my last. I'm wondering which brand stands behind their model the best. I've tried to always buy American and thanks to Pol. that time has passed. Twice I have been burned by them and their cust. service dept is a joke. I'f you could reach through the phone and choke someone, I'd be in jail right now. My 800 is great. I just wish the Yugo dept. did'nt put mine together. 340 miles and more problems than i've had in 20 years of riding. They Do NOT stand behind their product. My dealer and cust. service play phone tag blaming each other for not covering defects, and I'm left in the middle with a $9000.00 pos. I'm going to do some research on this site and others and find out which brand I plan to switch to.

I thought about waiting to see if the 500 HO would be EFI, but then I thought i can take a carburetor a part and repair it.

Bionic,

Here is a link if you want to see how bomb backs there machines:

http://atvfrontier.com/ftopict-12071.html

I just wrote a letter to polaris last night, talking about the same thing, CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am sure it will fall on deaf ears over there. I Have owned a couple polaris atv's and am in the market to get another one. From what I see from all my studies is I believe I will be going with Arctic Cat this time. It sounds like they will stand behind there product, and for 06 they give you a three year warranty on your atv, not a lousy 6 months like some companies. To me that says a lot, because if you believe in your product you will back it up. I have talked to a lot of people at Arctic Chat, and it really sounds like Cat stands behind there product. I wish these companies would realize, that without the costumer they have NOTHING, and I think it is time they start bending over backwards to keep us.
Bionic it sounds like you have had a lot of problems, but wouldn't it make you feel better if you took your machine in and they just fixed it with no questions asked. An atv is designed for off road use, and they take a lot of abuse, so that means any weak links on the machine are going to break, it sure would be nice if the company just fixed the defect instead of making you wish you never purchased it.

Well I am done ranting for awhile

Iron, it may not be polaris that you are having a problem with...it may be the dealer. Our brand new 700 broke after three days of use, It would not go into high and it had two torn boots...EVERYTHING including the boots were replaced. Droped it off on monday, fixed on tuesday

They paid for your boots? I've had about 8 ripped, and they never offered to pay. Although I never asked.

Iron-wow what a thread. I can't believe that. Good forum too. I joined. Thanks. Bomb seems about as useless as Pol to the customer after the sale
