I have a 2002 Polaris Magnum 500 which has been having starter problems for almost a year. A clicking noise when run button pushed up to start. I would finally start after a few trys, but now it does nothing but click. I replaced battery, pulled starter and had it re-built, replaced the solenoid switch mounted next to battery and still the same thing. Am I missing something? It also won't start now with the pull cord - I drained the chamber but was no water in it. There is some sort of switch in a black plastic pouch on the lead coming off the battery and going to the plug. Is this some sort of regulator that I should be thinking is broken? Any suggestions on a next move before taking to the dealer to be charged through the nose would be helpful. Thanks
