2004.5 700 efi?

What is the max rpm this motor should run going down the road wide open? Do these efi motors have a rev limiter?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

2004.5 700 efi?

Should be around 6,000 rpm. It could be slightly lower. There is a rev limiter.

Thats right where it is running at wot 6060 rpm, i haven't heard it cut out or anything yet? When punching it to wot you can really hear that its starving for air need to update snorkel and get k+n air filter.

I believe the rev limiter is somewhere around 6,300 rpm.

2004.5 700 efi?

I have had my 700 up to 6350 rpms with out hitting the limiter but I would say it was getting close. I currently run my 700 at wot and the rpms are 6150-6200.
