what kinda milage you getting oout of a tank of gas? got 20 hours on one of mine and 46 on the other both are getting around 43 45 miles on a tank....any improvement in the future????? just wondering

well you have to think thats a pretty big engine and how big of a gas tank does it have? Its kinda off the subject but my sportster 883 only gets around 100 to 120 miles on a full tank, and that seems weird to me too. Also depends on how hard you ride it, or temperatures, and humdity, etc.... What is your riding style like?

rough riding i get 35 ro 40 miles out of it. cruiseing i get upwards of 70

I was out Saturday on my 800. I was running between 25 and 70mph with it (mainly around 35-40mph). The low fuel started to flash at 80 miles. Total I rode about 115 miles Saturday and used about 5.75 gallons of gas = ~ 20mpg. I won't complain about that at all. Thats better than my 500HO ran riding in similar conditions.

BTW, my 800 has just under 600 miles on it now.

That's about normal, Parvmeister. That's what I get too. You can put in about an 80 to 100 mile day and be setting on empty when you come in. I supose that would change drasticly if you were riding in low.
