I am getting a brake rub or some noise coming from the rear brake disk .. I have a 05 pred, it started about 2 months ago, and it sounds like a rubbing noise,, one guy told me that the brakes are uneven wore???? he said drive the pred slow speed and apply the rear break to get it to wear evenly???? anyone with any ideas what it could be ,,and how to fix the rub??????

There is a "burnishing" process to go through with new pads outlined in the manual.
It consists of slowing down (braking) slowly about 10 times after replacement , also try anti-squeel pad backing spray.
