Default DARN KEY TURNS OFF IGNITION

if your key is hitting your gas cap without a bunch of keys on a keychain, then your pod must be bent down as mine doesn't come close....

yup, impossible is no a very good word, thats why I said.....BUT....lol

Yeah, mine doesn't come close. It used to do it when I first got it, because I had the dealership key chain attached. After taking it off, it's been fine. You must have really bent that pod bracket. Take off the housing and bend the bracket back up. That should only be a 5-10 minute fix.

speaking of the pod bent down, does anybody make an aftermarket box of some sort to put all the stough in the pod in that sits down lower so it all doesn't get trashed when you roll over. don't say don't roll it over cause if you ain't reckin' you ain't ridin.

Rieds, great motto. You must be a blast to ride with. You have an ambulance follow you around when you ride??

Carry it to a local locksmith. He should have a compatible blank. I got extras cut the same week I bought mine.

I rolled a honda 200 off the side of a 50 foot hill. I was climbing up it and the back slid into a rut throwing me off. The bike rolled all the way down first end over end then side to side. about 2 or 3 rolls each way. I slid back down and got right back on and rode back to the house. Other than the bent handlebars nothing was hurt except my shoulder when I came off I hit a tree with my right shoulder. took a few weeks to feel better. We beat the heck out of my father in laws little honda's and they just keep on smiling.

rolled one with one of the grandkids on the back. He 's never rode with me again. Maybe he would but his mother won't let him.

I thought i was loosing my mind, i had this happening with my new '04.5 700efi, every once in a while i'd take a hard right and it would die, i had no idea what it was and narrowed it down to my key somehow hitting, never came up with a fix and it doesnt happen often enough to worry about for me.
