Work lights not working on Sp 800
#1
Ran the 800 off road for the first time yesterday. What a beast!!! I was very impressed with everything, especially the comfort.
AFter the day on the trail, the work lights in the rear won't turn on. Any ideas?

if you have a voltage meter, then test the power wires coming to the lights and if they are getting juice, make sure the ground is good, and if it is good, the lights are messed up
if there is no power getting to the lights, check the switch and see if there is juice coming from it when you turn it on, if there is juice, there is a loose wire somewhere between the switch and the lights so just trace it back and see where it got disconnected or kinked, if there is no juice from the switch, the switch is messed up.
also, i don't know if the 800 has this or not, but see if it has an inline fuse, if so check it, if it is blown then replace it, if it blows again, you have a short somewhere and need to find it, most likely a hot wire is getting grounded out somewhere...hope this helps-pb500
