2manytoys,
After I bought the new tires and rims I posted the comps between them and stock. Like how much wider and taller it is now with the new stuff compared to old. Also the weight gain. I just don't have those specs anymore. It is bigger but not terrible bigger. It has the feel of a beast. I can only guess it feels like a Magnum for size. And I mean a good powered beast.
So I called Rick at RCR and told him what I did and I said I wanted the same take off, mid, and top that I had with the smaller tires. I said I can sacrifice top speed for take off and power. He knew I had the EPI Red primary spring. I ran it with the new tires with the EPI Red and didn't notice that much diff.. I think because the new tires grab and bite so much better. I did gain top speed.
Anyway, he sent me a new spring to get it close to where it was power wise to what I had with the smaller, and lighter tires. I knew I would lose some of my new top speed. I put the new spring in and only had it out for a short trip in the street. The front is lighter than it has ever been. I like that. And it pulls real good all the way through. I don't remember what spring it is?
I know it will do better in the mud. I mean, look at the tread! It will be hard to tell overall because good tires can add so much to performance. What are your thoughts?
