in the new polaris brochure for 2001 atvs and accesories there is alot more stuff now i think, they have some fox struts, i think 150 bucks or so,you should check out the polaris brochure, they have more graphics kits and the scrambler front bumper and stuff, it is pretty good

 

I was riding on a motocross track yesterday and my front end bottomed out on a few of the jumps. So today I went to my local dealer and asked about new front suspension. He suggested the fox struts. He quoted me $151 each. And $40 each for heavy duty springs. $382 for the set up, ouch! Does anybody know anyplace else to get these cheaper?

 

I dont want to sound like a broken record but go w/ the Works. Mike had Fox & now has Works & he siad the Works is a much better ride. Plus I rode his quad & the ride is GREAT. I also purchased the Works. Plus their $230 w/ more travel.

I just read the article on Hot Seat's new suspension. The dual rate springs, front and rear, look pretty impressive. Add on the Works struts and it must be great.

Anybody have the Hot Seat springs?
Any opinions on this set-up?

I too have some money to spend on upgrades. Considering a roller clutch or suspension upgrade.

Eggman, I read it in ATVSPORT, December 2000. They gave it a pretty good review. It is just hard to know what is worth spending our hard-earned money on... I've wasted too much money in the past...most every recommendation from someone on these forums were good ones though!

By the way, on my Scrambler400 the roller clutch was well worth the few hundred bucks! Tons more power getting where it needs to be!
