Default 2004 sportsman 600, what to do, what to do?

im planning on getting at least a winch and some tires, i got my eye on the Warn #3000 winch, and maybe the Goodyear Rawhide tires, but i would like to know what are the biggest tires a sportsman can clear easily 26' 27'? and is there anything else i should get as far as hop ups go?

Just my opinion but the warn 2500 is plenty of winch, I have a 700 with one and cannot imagine what it would take to run it out of power. As for tires , 26" may rub a little on the front 27"s will definately rub without a leveling kit. I put 1.5 " under my front, Clears 26' and pretty sure it would clear 27.

If your 04 600 is stock, a Heel Clicker clutch kit and the carb update will really wake-up the machine especially if your going bigger/heavier tires. You will need spacers with the stock rims up front or ITP rims will give you correct offset and look trick too.

26" tires are all you would need and will still rub when the front-end is compressed. A spacer under the springs is an inexpensive fix if you are willing to pull your front suspension apart.
