NEW INVENTIONS FOR YOUR SPORTSMAN?

i was wondering if anyone had anything that other could use... something unique that some of us hasn't thought about. i myself have had thoughts of different things but was wondering what else is out there in Polaris world. Anything such as i think sportsman70003 put diamond tread on his racks and silverbullet, and others, making their own spring spacers...what else you all got?

I know this isn't really what you're talking about but I do have an invention for my two quads. I live in a suburb & have a two car garage with no other place to put the bikes except the garage. Space is at a premium to say the least. I've designed a lift where I can raise the 325 up & then park the 700 directly under it. By doing this , two bikes are taking the space of one. Without getting into detail , it's powered by a winch mounted on the bottom & has two 5" OD pipes running parallel vertically 4' apart. They are 8' tall & have two sleeves that fit around the pipes & slide up & down. There is a framework connected to the sleeves that you drive your quad onto , then you raise it with the winch. When in position , you pin it with two pins , then release the pressure from the winch. I'm in the process of procuring all the material now so when it's done I'll post lots of pics.

that sounds sweet....i would like to see how that is working, so do post the pics....i don't care what kind of invention it is, i would just like to see what everyone is doing that is unique for their quads instead of people bashing one another...just a new idea...who knows, we may get 1000 replies or just 2..lol

I had to mount a sprayer on my '05 sp400 rear rack and the sprayer is set up for a tube rack using "u" bolts so I had to do something different. I did use the Polaris mount holes on the rack and, instead of using the $15-$20 Polaris Lock-N-Ride device, I used 4 - $3 boat plugs and used the rubber part and a couple of 1/4 inch bolts with washers. I mounted them to the sprayer and just rachet them in the holes. The rubber part from the boat plug expands and holds the sprayer on the rack.

that would be so cool to have a double trailer like that, my trailer is 5x10 and when we ride 2 quads, we have to put one on up front and turn it sideways, then pull the other up to so they fit right, but with the double holder, that would eliminate it. i would like to do the same with mine, but i don't know exactly how to do it. anyone got any ideas?

polarisbear500 , I think the biggest problem with a stacked trailer is that it would be top heavy. We go to Silverton Co. every year in July and ride the passes. There is very limited motel space so a camper trailer is the ticket. Problem is , if you don't have a toy box trailer there's no way to haul the quads unless you take 2 vehicles. Then the gas kicks your a$$. We've been seeing something the last 2 years up there thats pretty cool. It's a rack that fits in the bed of your truck that holds 2 quads. With these , you can put your bikes in the truck & still tow a trailer. I finally asked a fellow with one where he got it & he gave me this web site : www.atvracks.com . I guess you could mount one of these in the front of your trailer & that would free up some room in the back & it would keep you from stacking them. Just a thought. Oh yeah , the company is very proud of these racks if you know what I mean.
