Default Another young rider laid to rest.

I just got back from the funeral for the 20 year old nephew of a real close friend. This makes three in the last year kids that I knew. He died from a auto accident with no seat belt on ejected from the vehicle then crushed. I know that a lot of younger riders read these forums and this sounds like an older person bitching but life is too precious to give it up so young. I'm not suggesting to not play the way you always have just make sure you are doing it the safest way possible with the as much safety equipment that is available. God knows that I have done some pretty crazy things in my past but I have been very lucky and survived the really stupid ones. All I am sayings is be careful so that you can ride the next day.

Sad story Pennyless, Good advice. I will never understand not wearing a seat belt or riding without a complete set of gear.

Sorry to hear that Pennyless! I have laid a few of my friends in the ground, and its no fun at all. They to were killed in accidents. I pray for the family and friends of the young man who passed so suddenly.

Lost a few buddies due to "reckless behaviour" back in the day, & one just a few months ago, it's too bad that we as humans need to learn everything the hard way, myself included. If u plan to be unsafe, get the gear on, it really does help. At the age of 20, life has barely begun.

BOB BONJOUR is the young man mentioned above. I'm BOB's Uncle KENNY.

He crashed my 500 Magnum and walked away without a scratch.
He crashed my 400L Polaris and walked away without a scratch.
He jumped my 400 Trailblazer and 400 Scrambler, and never a scratch.
He wore a helmet and boots when he rode quads.

BOB, REST IN PEACE, MAY YOUR NAME BE WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFE.
See you in HEAVEN BOB......................
