Default italian tune up worked well on the phoenix 200..

well the kids phoenix 200 (had it for a couple weeks) was not running so hot last time we had it out to put around the driveway... so i researched here and saw that was not unusual... feared having to get a new plug, problems with limiter etc...

so we pulled them out today and i thought maybe it was just loading up from the slow speed putting around... so i took it out for a longer spin up and down the drive way- opening up all the way a few times, then turned the idle screw in about 1/4 turn and it is working much better now...

now i just need to get the wiring on my truck working so i can tow them to a place to really run them a bit- and hope that the 100 plus days end soon- i know az is supposed to be dry heat but it is swampy humid right now- you can break a sweat in the shower.

thanks for being here- good riding to all

i think all the ladies in bikini's raise the heat index....

heck i am in 'northern' arizona and it's still toasty... and swampy... and very few bikini's!

<bump>

well iv'e been too busy to ride much... but i ran into what may be a std. problem-

hard starting- admittedly it is colder now but this is nuts- choke on- off- halfway off and every where in between... pump the gas, don't pump it... ?

what am i doing wrong ? do i need a different plug?

also- i noticed that there are some cracks around the rubber junctions from the belt housing up to the breathers or snorkles- is that normal? should it be covered under warranty?

thanks-
