C828 Tires?

I dont think I'm getting my Bearclaws due to availability and cost ($130ea canadian). I have been looking at the Ching Chin 828. An older design of tire, more easily available and much cheaper. I can remember having these on my fathers YTM200er . . . a little rough with no rear suspension.
Any thoughts??
