Thanks for the install instructions. They made the install a piece of cake!

 

Just remember something....if you bought regular Warn winches, you're setup is going to be different, you need to get the winch that is the Polaris Winch Kit...it is made to connect directly to the pre-wired machines.....you can still put in a regular warn setup, its just extra wiring, I don't think the contactor/relay is made to bolt directly to the mount, etc...

do you need a mount plate to mount a winch on the 05 sp 500?
I heard it was ready to go is this true?

If you buy the one that is pre wired and comes in the "kit" you will not need the mounting plate.. the rest of them do and they run about 44 bucks with shiping.. see Item number: 4591043151 on ebay now.. This is my posting but I was going to get this one prior to buying the pre wired Kit.. Lke the one I got : Item number: 4591495786

 

Ebay number 4591043151 is the exact mount that I ordered from them and it fit my milemarker perfectly. They shipped it with/in two hours when I used paypal. They are a very reputable company. They even include the template to cut out the front bumper plate.

 

I would appreciate the instructions also.
