It's the design of the non-concentric frame to the later concentric drive that makes the difference. You'll get into clearance problems. I'm not sure how bad though. Maybe someone who has actually tried to install one can chime in. I know I had a 95 sport and only 2 companies made pipes to fit it.

daddas,
I sell parts all the time on e-bay.
I have a great used Aaen mid/top end pipe, pained and heat tape wrapped, and ready to go. Also have a Hpd silencer used

HPD and the Aaen Pipe for Polaris 400 look identical.

Also have a HPD pipe used that needs welded where the pipe split, about a 2.5" crack needs to welded.

I'm running a 42mm TMX with 2 pedal V-Force reeds, HPD top end pipe, Aaen silencer, On otherwise stock 2003 400 2-stroke Trailblazer, Stock piston, porting, etc.

Also have Alcohol 400 Polaris, just put back together after neighbor Beer Canned it! (CRASHED THE HELL OUT OF IT)

the v-force reed cage will add extra hp on a ported and piped motor,
especially you'll can lean it out to gains more power out of it even more then, better response is the most benefit.

V force reeds are a good product and under the right circumstances they can really wake up an engine. BUT if your engine is stock and you have a stock pipe then you are wasting your time and money!

The stock reeds will allow good airflow on a stock engine, now if you are going to spin the engine at a higher rpm ( new pipe ) then the reeds will help your peak horsepower (1to 3 ) but if you put them on a stock engine you may see some midrange gains ( a good thing ) but not any peak horsepower increase. This is because the way they are constructed they open a little wider then stock at the same rpm. You also may want to raise your engagement as these reeds don’t really work well at low rpm.

Take the time to get your clutching right ……….this is where the really fast boys will be starting out. And you will get the most bang for your buck!!

I put 2 pedal V-Force Reeds and a 42mm tmx carb with a 300 main jet. Then put a Aaen silencer on the stock pipe. The rest of Quad is stock 2003 Trailblazer 400.

Stock pipe
Stock clutch
stock tires/ but also tried 25" tires on rear.

This Quad pops like firecrackers from the exhaust, and you have a hard time keeping the front end down.
It's some much more responsive it amazing.

I also use this Quad to pull a 60" trailmower to mow my 5 acres.

last week I put on the HPD top end pipe and Clutch kit. The engagement is a little to high.

Yesterday I put stock silencer on because neighbors are complaining about noise.

My wife doesn't like riding this quad now because the front keeps coming off the ground and its too peppy she says.

I installed the reeds & diff was minimal although there is a diff.I realize that changes come from combinations & I will be adding a pipe & silencer shortly.I am also ordering a spring for the clutch.
