you got it right tough, especially if you keep puting mods on it,the reeds will show you the real potential with pipe and porting/carb changing then.

Daddas, the frame/chassis were changed like bubba said the 99 and newer sports take a different pipe then the 96-98 models there is not a huge differance but if you had a pipe off of a 96 you wanted to put on a 99 or vise versa youwoudl be able to do with a little bit of workbut it it just wouldn't be right, the pipe stamping and dimensions are exactly the same.

Go with the Hot Seat pipe over the FMF. Only deal with the companies that build the clutching to match their pipe. Your far off better in the end. By the way, my wife liked her Hot Seat silencer a lot and wouldnt give it up for anything else. It has a neat destinctive sound, but not overly loud.

I agree, do not get an FMF, you need a clutch kit built to match your pipe and new power band/rmps.

don't buy anything from fmf or dg for polaris, they just cannot flow bench enough those auto quads to come out with a pipe that fit and perform as it should be,just by looking the header and longer of the pipe you'll
understand, sorry for the bash, but the truth is out there.
