If I replace the whole cluster will it still read the correct miles and hours on the new one. Where does this thing get is memory from? This is on a 2005 700 EFI that I rolled down a hill.

 

when I changed the speedo on my 02 sp 700 everything started @ zero.

 

Well I'm trying to buy one on E-bay, I hope it doesn't have a million miles on it. Mine's only two months old, with about 500 miles on it, but when I flipped it the sweeping needle quit working. I can hear something rattle inside it but I can't get into it to fix anything. The mileage and tripmeter and hour meter and all that works just fine, just no speedometer.
