Default HeLp! Sportsman dies when in water ??????

Not sure about the plugs....but I have read about carb. vent tubes causeing this many times on the fourms. don't know if your quad has a vent tube hanging down under it or not my friends did and it would die every time he got the tube under water. It also seemed electrical but was just the tube first he shortened the tube. And then routed it into the airbox later on to make sure it stayed dry.

I will look and reroute the vent tube. I am still wondering if those two plug need to be kept dry. If so then they are in a bad spot (low).

The two plugs on the transmission are the gear position switches. They send a message to the pod as to what gear you are in. When they go bad it won't show H<L<R on the pod. Not your problem.... I think it is running too rich and a quick easy way to see is raise the "C" clip on the needle valve which is under the gold dome on top of the carb. Pull the dome and the diaphram the needle is inside. Lift the "C" clip up two notches and try that. My HO was bogging under load last summer and that was the fix. THis summer I jetted down two main jet sizes and it flat out rocks now....

The carb overflow tube make a little sense. However the carb running rich doesnt sound right because it only happens when I run through water.

Did you ever try the dielectric grease on the plug wires?

SPORTSMAN70003, I did not do the plug wires-grease thing yet.
Where do I put the grease? Coat the entire wire? what about the Coil wire?

Coat your wire where it goes on the plug and where it goes on the coil. My 700 had the same problem you have and that fixed it.
