Srammytodd,
I guess you dont really know too much about Honda do you. I can spin ALL 4 tires on my Rincon just as long as anyone can. There is a trick that we can do to get all 4 tires to spin. And its not by installing a locker either but it works.

like i said the new honda push rod engines are junk and do not hold up. the old 300 honda 400 ex 300 ex engines are fine and tough.as far as getting to the oil drain plug on the polaris sportsman all it takes is a wrench and you laying on your back under the bike if you dont have a lift!there is nothing hard about it!and as far as wheelies the polaris will pull a wheelie just not as high as the honda.the reason for this is the weight difference between the two bikes.and polaris has true 4x4 not 3x4 like other bikes.if these other bikes are so good why are they coppying polaris?polaris was the first for auto trans, push button 4x4, headlight pod, full independent suspension, efi , and manny other things.it is also the only one with the transmission seperate from the motor making work or replacement on one or the other alot simpler and cheaper to do!if you sunk your bike and had to change fluids in everything thats because a true polaris man would have ran all vents from the carb, trans, mtor, front diff, rear diff on straight axle bikes. up to the headlight pod for that simple reason. COMMON SENCE WILL SAVE YOU HEAD ACHES AND A LOT MORE $CENTS!

You're correct, STARKSREBEL. Polaris has set the industry standard in ATV'ing. Hands down. I believe the Honda might be more durable about future repairs, but I wouldn't trade my 2000 335 SP for a honda/yamaha. I may have fix things on it now and then, but I can go and do anything these newer jap models can do. honda and yamaha's are barely putting onto their models what I've had for 6 yrs now. It's not rocket science. Buy Polaris.

Come on V2, what do you expect in the Polaris forum? Touting AC? Honda? They are all good machines, to each their own. Don't know if Starksrebel is accurate on all acounts, but I rode AC and Honda before Polaris. Didn't compare in ride, comfort and capability. AC is great on paper, and have 1 in our group, and he rides the h3ll out of it, and it goes just about anywhere (almost, he doesn't have a locker), but it doesn't handle, ride as comfortably as Polaris. He is quite a bit more worn out after rides. Capable, just a lot harsher ride with more rider input required. He likes it, but says as he gets older, he may have to get a Polaris! Appears you really like your AC and that is great. Love my Polaris' past and present. One point I'd like to make, just riding the 2 machines on flat parking lot doesn't give you a real feel for how they will handle off road, unless you are always riding flat gravel roads. The Polaris differences really show on the trail. All IMO.
