I have a 2004.5 sportsman 700 efi and was wondering if anyone knows what the polaris part number would be? I got the fronts no problem but my dealer can't find the rear ones, i would think polaris makes them, i had them on my 2001 500 ho. I think the only way to get it without buying the front ones would be to find a used one. I got a pair of front ones on Ebay for 6 bucks, and they were like new. Now I can't find the rear one by itself.

 

The rear shock cover i got is sold seperatly#2871793-070 That is a polaris number.

 

So does that mean you found them?

 

This single shock cover must be for a scrambler or something with a single rear shock, when i got my shock covers for 01 500ho the came one pair in a package and they worked great for keep mud and debris out of the shock seals.

 

Don't the swingarm quads have a larger diameter rear shock?
