How many of these new Polaris's are made in China. I know the phonix is but what about these new hawkeye and sawtooth things, they look awefully chinsy on their website, even for Polaris junk.

 

Maybe I'm wrong, but aren't the foreign part of polaris in japan and no china?

I don't think any Polaris machines are built in China or Japan. The Phonix and Sawtooth are built over in Tiawan I think. Are the raptors still imported ?

hawkeye is made in the usa the sawtooth is made over seas
that polaris junk think is harsh coming from some one who rides around on a bunch of aluminum...
and why are you looking on there website i mean i never go to yamahas website because i dont like the way there quads are built so i dont shop them....nor do i go to the yamaha forum and try to bash...

i have heard within like 5 years most of polaris's atv's and snowmobiles will be made in china and well that comes from ALOT of reliable resources. won't have to ship the parts that far and labor in china i guess is very cheap. so all you guys that are hardcore about buying american built well you might need to shift your priorities elsewhere. (nothing is completely 100 percent american made either) the domestic motor made for the polaris well is basically all fuji parts just sent over and assembled in the states.

 

the 600, 700, 800, and all the snowmobile engines are made by Liberty in the US, sure they have things like BOSCH injectors and crap. but none of the polaris quads above the sawtooth are made in china, after all, it is illegal to say it was made in the US or canada if it really was in china.

 

mine is pretty good how is yours o wait u dont have one cause its to powerful for you
