Default Outlaw tire question?

On the 2005 700 efi, will 28x12x12 tires make my bike loose a lot of power? The reason im wandering is i am trying to decide if i want to put 28x12x12's on the back or just go with 28x10x12 on all four rims? What do you guys think?

so you can't run 28x10x12 on the front and 28x12x12 on the back? The sportsmans come stock with 26x8x12 on the front and 26x10x12 on the back and the 4wd seems to still work. Maybe im not understanding why it want work if the factory tires are different sizes?

Mudder - YES you can run 28-10-12 on the fronts and 28-12-12 on the rears - As long as you have all 28"s on all 4 rims, the rotation is the same and it will not hurt the 4WD on a Polaris - I currently have this configuration with 26" ITP Mudlites mounted on Vison rims - check out my pics... I'm going to see if a 28-9-12 and 28- 11-12 will work my stock 800 rims without having to buy wheel spacers - Those Vison Rims already have the offset built into them but I want to put them back on my 500.... I saw some odd ball sizes somewhere but I can't remember what kind tires they were ... If you go with those 28's in that size you mentioned , you may need wheel spacers

I understand all of that, i guess i just confused you guys on what i was saying. Sorry about that, didn't mean to do that. All i really want to know is if the 28x12x12 on the rear tires will make me loose more power than its worth?
