Default best tires

ok so, i do alot of road riding on my 800, and my stock tires are going to need replaceing in a good 150-200 miles (450 atm) i want off road tires, but i need the rubber to be REALLY dence so i can continue to do my street work, but can go out into the feilds and mud. and im not one for going slow, so id like to have tough sidewall tires. i know good year Rawhides were really good off road tires the wore well on the street, and i really like the way the tires look on the MV, so im thinking about getting Rawhide runflats in 27" and an inch wider in the front and rear. has anyone had experience with the new runflats? considering that their used for the military, im presumeing they hold up excellent in all conditions, but id like more detail

anyhelp is appretiated, thanks

My dad has the goodyear runflats on his honda 300 and he loves them, but the only problem is that the runflats are only 4 ply tires and most other atv mud tires are 6 ply, and 4 ply tires are more likely to get a flat than 6 ply. Another thing about the goodyear runflat tires is that all sizes in the goodyear tire are not runflats, only certain sizes are avaliable as runflats.

What in the world kind of 'work' are you doing on the road in LaGrange?

You could just get Pilot Sports for the Road and PXTs for the mud!! Pilot Sports are awsome tires, I put them on my 350Z.

I think the reason you cant find any information on the goodyear tires is because the tires that are on the mv, like my dads tires, are mud runners not rawhide. They do however make a rawhide, but they also make the mud runner rawhide as well, and the mud runner is the one that is avaliable in runflats. Another tire that i would consider would be the highlifter outlaw mst tire. I personally have the original outlaws on my 700 and they are really aggresive, but the new mst is designed more for muti use instead of just mud only, but they can still hold there own in the mud i promise you.
