now that I can convert metric to english in my head it all makes sense to me. Its all based on .03937. thats 1 mm and it all goes up from there keeping that measurement(or numbers) 1 meter is 39.37 inches

At least metric makes sense. Our system is a load of BS. Whoever invented it should be shot. Damn english. That's why we revolted, you'd think that the revolution would've solved this?
