Default 414 BIG BORE Kit for Trail Boss 330

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]Has anyone put the ritter cycle big bore kit on a Polaris 330 yet?

Ive talked to him (Rick @ Rittercycle.com) several times and asked about it. It was originally fabricated for a 325cc engine.
Doing my own investigation, gaskets head and cylinder appear to have same part numbers other than
the apparent bore diffences. I understand that the bore kit will keep me up with a Scrambler 500
If anyone has any info about it, it would be greatly appreciated.

i have one on my 325 trailboss and love it. what a difference. where you have the stage one kit already i'm sure it will be that much more impressive. i have yet to do the stage one kit on mine. maybe that will happen this winter.

Did you stay with the stock carb after you had the 414 done?

yes it is still stock. i have been wondering if i should change that out to get more out of my engine. i have yet to figure out what to do with that. any suggestions would be nice.

Default 414 BIG BORE Kit for Trail Boss 330

I've got a brand new carb from a 330, slightly larger than the 325 stock carb. Got it for 25 bucks on Ebay, and have considered putting it on mine with just the stage 1 kit. Rick said jetting would be a challange, so I haven't done it yet. Other than the jetting, the only difference is the boot from the carb to the engine (40 bucks new). Guess I just need to buy a jet kit and put it on.
