So, if I understand this correctly, I can take any 2004 Sp 700 springs and put on my 04 Sp 400? or is there a certain color I need. I've seen Red and Black on various oem websites. Any help? By the way this site http://www.polarisoemparts.com is this lease expensive I have found. $63.00 shipped for a set.

I don't know about color. THe ones they put on are black. They said something about using "heavy duty" springs, I don't know if that is a special set any different from the 700 springs.
Anyways, I tried lifiting the plow today. With the old springs, the plow would bottom the front end. Now, there is still plenty of travel under the weight of the plow.
