I am very pleased with the choice of polaris to make a good stock tire for the 05 sportsmans. During my ride at LBL I got the opportunity to really put them to the test. I hit some good mud holes. A buddy of mine made the coment that he had never seen an atv make it out of a particular mud hole, so of course I had to try. I made it out just fine. A bit of body english was required, but I trudged thru. Same day I got to pull a Yamaha big bear out of some very loose and deep gravel going out to a sandbar. I was also educated to the fact (no offense to the kazuma guys) that Itp rims and mudlites are not a good choice for the 250 utility model they have. I was riding and a guy from Illinois that deals the entire Kazuma line broke a chain going up a moderate hill. I had to tow him up. After I towed him up, he was confident that his son could pull him the rest of the way with a 250 raptor type kazuma clone. Another broke chain on that one. So now I am towing him all the way back to camp. I made 25 bucks out of the deal, but it was sorta comical that he had all the bells and whistles on this (budget quad). Helped my ego out a ton. I was considering aftermarket tires for my SP 700, but think I will stick with the stockers. I spent alot of ride time messing with my wifes TB, but just can't seem to find the sweet spot on jetting it. It wants to hessitate at about half throttle right before the powerband. Cool, i think the PXTs are a great tire.
