almond spring?!?!?!
hello all,
quick question. i am drag racing a 400 rm setup. as of rite now i am running a lite blu primary with s55 weights. i have a almond spring with 10-58's sitn in the box that i havent tryed yet. do any of u guys run this setup? how do the 10-58's snd the s58's differ? i know they probably shift differently, but how and where throughout the powerband?
all replies greatly appreciated.

I am running the amond/blue right now with S-55 weights, violet secondary set on 1-1.I didnt try the S-58 weights yet,but i will try them this weekend. The difference between the S series and the 10 series is where the weight is placed on the weight itself.I believe the 10 series has more weight at the tip of the weight than the S- series.

CED actually has it backwards there (). The S series weights have more weight on the tip and will initially hit harder right off the line. That's why they are factory installed in most machines. The 10 series have more weight in the middle. They will still takeoff well, but hit harder as the clutch begins to shift out. They have a very aggressive middle range. Bubba
