Spyder, Jeremy has an 05 or 2. He had an LE, which IMO, is the best value. Why not save some money, get the double warranty, and put more in your pocket?
I concur with GE4x4, it hurts after riding for several hours on the Pred. Since taking the trip to Harlan, and riding 115 miles through the mountains on the 700EFI, I can't imagine doing that kind of riding without IRS. I would get take a serious look at the Outlaw. That bike opens up a lot more opotions for the type of riding you can do.
We are planning another trip to the mountains Sept 30th and plan to ride 160+ miles in 2 1/2 days. I will be on the 700 or Outlander 800.
BTW...Don't post that your 800 is going to blow up if you keep riding it that way when you are wanting to sell or trade

anyway, I talked to jermey and he recomended doing a trade in a few weeks after he gets an outlaw so the price he can sell it for and buy it off me can go up to about 7500, so he said that we could do a clean trade on an outlaw and have about 1000 dollers store credit
and as for saving, it took me an entire year to save 1000 dollars, and in the situation that my parents are in currently (divorce) im in no means to ask any of my parents to help me, so its either one or the other

Spyder,
A lot of people want a 800 efi , including me!
I ride my 700 fast and hard ,WOT most of the time and it has held up just fine , no problems mechanically.
GE4x4,
you sold the 800? How did the racing go?
The Outlaw looks like it would be a good fit for you, I'm thinking about that one myself, would love to own one!

I'm wanting a Pred right now as well. Don't get me wrong, hitting the mud pits hard and doin' some brewtal boggin' is fun. The Kawi is very sporty when it comes time to hit the trails, but (needless to say) nothing like a true sport quad. I'm thinking of trading in the Scrambler, which hasn't been ridden in about a year, but I'll be loosing out pretty good. Right now I got all the extras stripped off the Scrammy and it's ready to trade for a brand new '04 Pred that my dealer has left over for $4500. I'd like to sell the Scrammy for closer to $2400 but I think I'll just settle for the trade because this deal on the '04 is rare and time is a factor.
I have a few questions.
1) Did they change anything in the tranny for the '04 Preddy or is it the same as the '03 tranny? (Regarding the tranny problems on '03 models)
2) Which is better...the '04 Pred for $4500 or '05 Pred for $5200? Both are the standard models. I like the '05 seat waay better and like the idea of the improved ratchet-style shifting. However, if I get the '04 for $4500 I can use the cash saved towards a pipe and skids.
3) Does anyone want to buy my Scrambler?
Sorry spyder6...I don't mean to steal your thread.
