ok, well I was out riding about 2 weeks ago and it just shut off on me. So we towed it back home and started trying to figure out what was wrong, couldnt figure it out, sprayed some starter fluid in it and after some hesitaion it fired back up, well I was out riding again and it did the same thing. It gradually lost power till it stopped, I checked the spark plug, it was fine, even put a new one in it. It is getting fuel, we checked that, but it didnt seem like the spark was real strong on the plug. Any one have any ideas what could be wrong? thnx

Did you look for Aluminum on the plug and do a compression test?

I did the compression check and it was fine, and I tried 2 brand new spark plugs in it still wouldnt start, it is getting fuel we know that, but it just wont turn over, I was thinking it might be an electrical problem or something?

It could be many things I'm gonna give ya a list of things to try out. Some things you'll need a voltage meter. When you use the volt meter make shore the key is turned on and always ground to the frame.
1. check the red engine shut off switch you could of bumped it off on accident.
2. check your voltage through the spark plug cap.
3. check all your wire connections.
4. check the carb over for any jet problems only because it's getting gas does'nt mean it's going to run the carb is the heart of the machine.
5. check the reed valve you could of broke a reed that's not unusual.
6. if all else fails pop the head off and see if the piston burnt up if that happened theres a problem with your jetting.

If you find out the problem e-mail me back I'd like to hear what went wrong.
GOOD LUCK

Thanks for commenting back...I have one and was watching for the outcome. Most folks wouldn't have acknowledged being part of the problem...
